BenQ AH500ST 4000-Lumen 1080p Short Throw Laser Golf Simulator Projector

The BenQ AH500ST is designed for golf simulator rooms where space is limited but a bright, immersive image is still essential. Its fixed 0.499 short-throw lens produces a large image from a short distance, helping keep the projector away from the golfer’s swing and minimizing shadows across the impact screen.

A 4,000-ANSI-lumen laser light source provides added brightness for larger screens and rooms with some ambient light. BenQ’s dedicated Golf Mode enhances the natural greens, blues and terrain details found in popular golf simulation software.

Screen Fill support allows the projected image to match 16:9, 16:10, 4:3 and 1:1 impact screens without unnecessarily stretching the picture. Quick Focus, two-dimensional keystone adjustment and Corner Fit provide additional installation flexibility using the included golf-optimized remote.

The AH500ST also supports movies, sports and gaming in Full HD, allowing a dedicated simulator room to serve as a broader entertainment space.

The AH500ST is particularly well suited to compact golf simulator rooms, basements, garages and configurations requiring the projector to sit closer to the impact screen.

Compared with the AH30ST, it provides an additional 1,000 ANSI lumens, a laser light source and a substantially shorter throw ratio. Because its lens has a fixed throw ratio rather than optical zoom, projector placement should be calculated carefully before ordering.
